Glenn - looks like Hitchcocks has a process wherein they 'remake' the tank badge for a little more quality and looks almost identical to you posted picture (page 169)

Personally I think that Mr H. chromed version definitely looks better than the colorful Indian badge ... though I think the original 1950's UK ones may have also been a sturdier metal.

Foggy95, I totally agree with your assessment of the two dealers, and please excuse my error about the state. The Philly Scooter people are really good, at least that was my impression of them when I went there.

If you are going to wait till March then I suspect that there will also be a lot more choice as the dealers re-stock for the riding season.
