Well here it is almost Mid january in New England and the ground isn't frozen, the bees in our hives were out flying around yesterday and today I noticed tulips and snow drops poking up out of the ground.

In NJ, we had 58 F yesterday at midday !  One of my plants had a few flowers - though it normally flowers in summer.  NO complaints whatsoever for this weather.  Feels really nice to be able to walk around.

Unseasonally warm in the SW UK too. The gales & rain finally abated a couple of days ago, so yesterday I just couldn't resist any longer and got the Enfield out of its bag. It started second press and I had a great ride, about fifty miles. Still taking it steady to break-in after the rebuild, but perfectly happy thudding along at 50-55. At one point the stupid grin I'd been wearing actually turned into a full laugh, closely followed by a good YEE HAH!  There'll be talk if I'm not carefull ("saw that old nutter on his motorbike again today...?")   :D

Yesterday (in Tulsa) I rode home from work in near-70-degree, sunny weather, and by 9pm there was an inch of snow in the back yard.

I could have been out riding yesterday if I hadn't been stuck at work all day.  Kinda peculiar for northern Michigan.

Meanwhile Australia is having the mildest summer on record, positively cold in some places.

Mild winter here in Indiana until a couple days ago, today its 16 deg F. I may have to get a side car so I can ride in the snow.

As will says it's been unseasonally mild here in the UK.

I finished my engine mods last Monday and managed to put in over 100 miles running her in. But now its the weekend it's pay-back time.

-4C last night and the night before.  >:(

Well, damn, we got rained out of another Norton Club ride today. I think I've been rained out of more rides in the last year than in the last 20. It hasn't rained that much, but it sure has nailed it on ride weekends.

Yeah, I know, Poo' Poo' baby! Can't go riding in a little rain while the rest of us are freezing our butts off!

Have to do a ride later in the week!
