These were snuck out to me by my mole at Corbin. He put the SD card in the sole of his boot.
The passenger backrest is a test piece. When you order a new seat and specify a backrest option, you get a choice of backrests.
There is a prototype pictured of the NEW optional saddlebag mount to suit the RE leather bags. (My idea by the way!)
Designed to fit with the home market, upswept muffler. SWEET!
More info and pricing later.

Comments and suggestions needed.
I mentioned the area above the airbox though comfortable, looks a bit chunky.

being a corbin seat, I have no doubt that it will be comfy. This is only my opinion and as is said opinions are like a nose, we all gottem.

It does nothing for me. The RE for me is all about the retro style. The corbin is not in that style. Looks pretty much like any other corbin seat, just sized for the C5.

Doesn't look like it belongs on a RE. There is nothing elegant or classic about this design.

I think it's a great option for people who always ride two up and want way more comfort for both people.  I agree with the others here, it takes away from the retro character that is the C5's trademark.  Still, I might go for it.  I loves me a Cornin seat.

Any chance of a Corbin single seat for the C5?  Maybe just see how their universal bobber seat fits on their while the bike is in the shop?

I personally love the Corbin gunfighter seat for the Norton Commando. It gives it a really sporty and aggressive look. This may or may not fit the look of the C5, but I think it would look great on the G5 with its slightly more angular panels and accents.

More from Mike Corbin:  The seat pictured is what they build the mold off of. It's called a plug.
The real seat will be a bit slimmer and trimmer.  PLUS when you do a ride in (custom) you can have it shaped a little rounder and of course lower or higher.

They are still wanting to borrow a G5 for the Gunfighter cafe style seat.
I have a preliminary drawing of the seat in charcoal.

The seat sketch reminds me of a very well made well contoured seat that a "Singh" friend made in Canada. See attached picture. I had a better image which seems to be missing from the computer right now. So Corbin are not the only one to do it........after all "Singh is King" (so goes a Bollywood Song)    ;D

Skinnier and lower profile would actually look a lot nicer. How about a cafe racer style for a C5? The gunfighter on the Norton looks spectacular.

+2 Skinnier and lower for me.

What about the price?  How much does the Norton Gunfighter seat cost?

I just checked- $369 for Norton Commando.  Plus postage?

Price yet to e determined.
Passenger backrest and bag mounts will be an extra cost option.
I plan on doing intro pricing when the seat is ready for production for forum members.
You would order the seat from our shop to get the deal, we ship to you.
If you do a "custom " build, by taking your bike to Corbin in Hollister, Ca. You  get to  watch your seat being built, make custom changes to taper, height, width, whatever you want, and pick the color and material including leather.
Price is the same. Pay the discounted price to the  BMW shop via CC, ride to Corbin, and 5-6 hours later, you're done!

Doubtful there will be a cafe seat for the C5.

Ha, don't I wish! Only two in the stable right now, and only the KLR is roadworthy at the moment.

Slick looking 650.

They are still wanting to borrow a G5 for the Gunfighter cafe style seat.

I've got a G5 here in southeastern PA. If they can't find anyone to lend them one, and they have the resources to pick it up, they're more than welcome to come grab it. It's been sitting for a while with some issues that I probably won't be able to address with what little daylight I have before the snow starts falling, and the bike would probably appreciate a vacation somewhere warm during the winter months since I don't have a garage.

Feel free to PM me if interested.
