I live in southern Ontario in a small town called Chatham. Every fall at harvest time for soya crops the town is inundated with crows. There is an estimated 300,000+ crows that winter here. After the soya and corn is off the fields, they gather near the ethanol plant area and get ground corn from the spillage and cob piles. After that they attack one's garbage on garbage day. Smart birds definately as they head to the different sections of town as they have garbage day. Not uncommon to see several thousand all standing around in parking lots... Just hanging out. Alfred would have been proud.
