I have had a problem with the fuel tank on my C5 that I have not got around to sorting yet, and I came across a couple of tanks on UK Ebay within 2 days of each other and to cut a long story short;
They were both advertised as EFI tanks but once they arrived I see they are different!!

The silver tank outlet ?
The black tank looks to be the one I require, I have not removed my tank yet to check, can anyone identify what the silver tank is from? and confirm that the black one is for a UCE EFI C5.
Many thanks
Dave

The black one with the 5 bolt pentagon pattern is an EFI one.  The other bung is for your tank level sensor.  I'd just check to make sure that your fuel pump will align with those bolt holes.  I'm not aware of any changes to the fuel pump but it never hurts to check before you tear into it.

I'm not positive on the other one (silver), but it looks to be from a carbureted motorcycle based on what looks to be a fuel petcock mount.

Yep, the silver one is for a carburetted bike. It won't work on an EFI bike.

What kind of problem did you have with your original tank?

It has developed a leak(small) above the left hand rocker cover, I believe it to be a poor weld, will look into it more soon, just wanted a spare tank to stay 'on the road'
