Just realized I never posted pictures of the new seat.

So are you going to post them or is this some kinda tease?  ;)

Oops!  Nevermind, I scrolled up after I posted.  I think you need to get the smaller muffler on there now.  The bazooka looks really out of place now.

Lookin good, now stretch the hell out of it! hahaha

Looks like you solid mounted the new seat, that made a massive difference to the corner stability for me, the sprung one kept squirming when you shifted your weight

Yeah, i've got it at my house in Michigan. I got the megaphone silencer, should end the exhaust length right by the rear suspension. I get done traveling for work on friday and am going back home saturday morning. Hopefully have the new exhaust on by dinner time. Supposed to be 45 and sunny. That's warm enough, right.

It came with springs but I hated the way the stock seat felt like you were sitting on a pile of pillows. Constantly shifting from side to side. Solid mounting the seat was the best thing i've done on the bike so far, I think. Lowered my center of gravity and it looks amazing.

This summer i'm planning on getting the Cafe front fender and different bars. Probably end up flipping the stock bars upside down and see how that looks.

If you're any taller than 5'10" it'll look like you're riding half a bike

get someone to take a pic of you riding and you'll see what i mean

Needs a 21" front wheel and a mild set of Cafe' handlebars. The front of the bike is out of balance from the rear of the bike. You are creating an art piece, as well as a very cool looking motorcycle !

I just added a picture of me sitting on the bike. I think it looks great.

Changing the exhaust today.

I don't have the resources to stretch it. One of the guys in my shop builds Mountain Bike frames for a local company but I'd have to ask around to find somebody I'd trust to do it. I'd probably only go 2" or 3" longer

I would go do it right now but my bike is in my garage and it is 32* and snowing. I also don't have the battery hooked up so I wouldn't even be able to hear how it sounds....

Screw it, i'm going to put it on.

Posting new pictures in about an hour.

It's not that hard, a good weld shop could knock up a sliding jig in an hour, bolt the old swingarm in, cut away the old arms, then you weld some 2 or 3 inch longer 0.150 wall DOM tube in place. Jobs done.

I wouldn't recommend slugs as the angle the arms are on mean you would have to put a kink in it

+1.  Just a little stretch on the swing arm and then bolt the fender up to it.  It's more than DIY if you can't weld but shouldn't be too much at a shop.  Ask around, see what it would really cost.
