My father was going through some family images and found this one. The woman on the left is my grand aunt Nancy, now 104 years old and still living in her own home in Aberdeen, Scotland.  Anyone have a clue as to what the bike is behind them?

I have had a good Google around for this and my guess is that the bike is a 1933 Triumph 500 NT.

It has a twin port head, which would give the left side exhaust. It has the right configuration of flat mudguard stays and a big side car lug in the right place. The fuel tank attachment looks about right and the mudguards are of that shallow pattern - fairly unusual for the era.

Wow,  that is a perfect match..

You can see the lug for the front brake, the clutch and throttle cables, angle of the seat front,  rear fender stays all match perfect.

Desi - That is a precious old picture and Chasfield has amazing search and find.

Well, that reminds me of my familiy connection to British bikes. Here is a picture of my uncle on his Triumph when he lived in East Africa.

Can anyone give more info on this bike model, year, engine size ??

I found this pic of a 1951 500cc Triumph t100 and I sepia toned it. The drum brake looks like a disk a bit cause its to the side of the hub.

Glenn and Jartist - Thanks a lot for finding out that it was a 1950's model.

Jartist's picture of Triumph 500cc T100 is absolutely incredible.  It fits to a tee.
I am very happy to see that picture.  Great find !!!

I have had my uncle's picture for some years but did not know the details of motorcycle. He is no longer alive. I always wanted to know more about that bike. THANKS.

Thread bump...lol.
A correction to my first post picture, the one on the left is my grandma (dec. 2005) and the one on the right is my Grand Aunt Nancy. She's turning 106 in a few weeks and still living at home!
