I'm replacing the kick pawl and need a decent diagram, mainly for the washers that go back on the kick start / neutral finder as I messed them up last time and aim to fix it this time around.

Can anyone help?

Once there, put your mouse cursor on the second button (Parts Book Online)

Select "500cc Indian Bullets" if you have a 4 speed transmission.
Select the one that best matches what you have.

If I have mis-guided you I'm sure someone will jump in and tell us.

If you do not have a Snidal's Workshop Manual, get one.    There is a whole section on gearboxs.

I have Peter's manual but the diagrams are just taken from other manuals ... and are rubbish when it comes to the little parts.
