Tequila for sure.

-Looks pretty in the bottle, with it's cool ,retro label.
-Seems like SUCH a good idea at the time - You know, when things are still going well.
-Then after, once you've invested your time and money into it, you are left on the side of the road (toilet rim) wondering where you went wrong.
-Lastly, the fluids start leaking out.

Have not had the bike for two weeks. Chumma has been giving it finishing touches. He had to open it up to look inside the combustion chamber and made some oiling adjustments he developed on the badger. Will get it back this week. Weather looks good for the next weekend, lets plan a ride.

Kool Aid

Oh man. U are on the money with that one. I drank it. Good to see you posting BlueRidge.

Redcat, did I already suggest to you to get your hands on some Bear Republic - Racer 5?  It's hard to find but a fantastic IPA.

Kool aid indeed!  I can swallow the enfield Kool aid. When I had a BMW the guys called it Bavarian Kool aid. I just couldn't swallow that stuff. So many people talk about how dependable BMW bikes are and those folks are completely deluded. I never had a machine with so many problems and was so hard to work on! Now the enfield- a few glitches but I could rip apart that mill and gearbox and reassemble it with my eyes closed methinks so yeah- I can swallow the enfield cool aid. The two year warranty helps to wash it down  :P

Morland Brewery came out with a beer to celebrate 50 years of the MG and named it "Old Speckled Hen" after an MG car that was used as a factory runabout and was frequently parked outsid the paint shop.

So for a Royal Enfield I thought something like "Oil Splattered 'En" might be appropriate.

With its English and Indian heritage it would have to be 'a cup of tea'.
Do it right and it's the best thing in the world. Get it wrong and it's bloody awful.
