Ha ;D ;D CLR works great. On that skuzzy shower head, too  :)

Heloego - my AC is a cold 2 minute shower every couple hours and walking around wet on my 2nd floor deck frightening the horses :o I can't do real AC; it freezes me up like an old turtle on a flat rock in December  :( :(

Yesterday I finished off my S&S oil pump and cam plate install.  Was quite the intimidating job, but finished it all on my own by reading the instructions and watching YouTube of course.  I plan on taking the highway home tonight and see if she still pukes oil cruising over 70mph.  I'm guessing I should be good to go now based on my findings inside the cam chest.  The inner chain tensioner pad was almost non-existent and the outer pad exploded upon release of tension.  With that being said, the motor was on the verge of catastrophic failure.  Good thing I tore her down when I did.

A few pics from the oil pump project.  You can see in the second pic that the tensioner shoe was almost completely gone.  All that fancy billet aluminum and I can only see it in this pic.

Looking great so far! Nice little stand you have, too! Looks adaptable to several different frames.

Thanks. The stand is very handy. It's made to fit the Monster through a spare hole in the crankcase but it works on the maggot, my old Suzuki Savage and my mate's 900SS so far.
That bag does look good.

That's why I opted to upgrade to the S&S Performance setup.  It updates the spring cam chain tensioners to hydraulic and has inlet screens on the scavenge pump, should a shoe ever happen to fail again.  The cam plate and pump are actually completely serviceable.

It wasn't a cheap date, but my boss was able to pull some strings for me.  I have big custom plans for her and am keeping her around for awhile, so figured it was well worth it.

Yeah, her too.  ;D This winter I want to do the tire hugger front fender for the custom front wheel and Tuxedo themed paint job with black metal flake and pure white pearl accents/2 tone.  Would also like to get the matching rear wheel.

It's official!  Wet sumping is officially cured!  Ran her to and from work at 75-80mph both ways and she ran flawlessly and didn't spit out a single drop.  Got the new apes installed last night too.  What a freaking nightmare trying to get the wires out of the old bars.  With the 2 sharp right angles, the tape caught and snagged every square inch.  Of course I ran out daylight quickly and had to do the entire reassembly by street light and flash lights.  Only reversed 2 wireson the left side switch harness on first attempt, and I really had to zoom in to catch it.  The angle of the picture and the way the wire curved threw me off on first attempt, but immediately caught what I did.  Regardless was a beautiful ride commuting today.
