Did about a 250 miler on the BSA Club Hanson Dam Ride yesterday. It was a beautiful day, just a light tad chilly, but beat the hell out of being too hot. the gang I got behind were mostly riding old Brit Thumpers, Gold Stars, Velocettes, Matchlesses, etc. And they were haulin' ass. I had to worked my butt off to keep up with them in the twisties! They were getting on with the program. Oh, yeah, a MotoGuzzi Falcone was leading the pack! Only a couple of REs at the Dam, a B5 and a '55 Indian 500 Twin. I've ridden with the guy with the B5 before. He's quite quick. But there was a great turnout. At least 4 Vincents were there, or at least that's how many I saw.
The ride went up Lower Big Tujunga to NAgeles Forest to Palmdale/ Elizabeth Lake down to Leona Valley for lunch, then to Francisquito Cyn to Spunky, to Bouquet Cyn and winding back down to Little Tujunga and back to the Dam.
The pic was taken pretty much after everyone had gone home.
