Aftermarket 'adjustment' kit. 9.95. Order now and get a free binding system( twine)

Thanks!  I'll wait for the Missus to visit her mother so I can sneak it into the garage.  I hope she won't notice.

How much to ship one of them fancy side-stand to Maryland?  Can you make it adjustable?   :o

Already in Maryland, just north of Baltimore. If I leave the bike out too long, it will disappear, and you can just pick up the side-stand free!

70 degrees plus in Hampton Roads, Virginia this weekend.   Pillion lady and I make it Williamsburg yesterday on the BMW LT, to Smithfield today on VTX 1800, and I got a laps in on the old '64 Puch 250 (Sears/Allstate).  If this is global warming I'm all for it!

Looks like I misread (or didn't read at all) the subject line.

Looked at my bike in the garage. I was thinking of going riding but it was 43o and 89% humidity. It was cold out there. And none of the usual suspects were riding either, apparently. It took a long time to warm up. Worked on a book.

Bikesnob and I went out for a little 250 miler yesterday in wildly changing temps. I started out on a 48o morning and met him in Devore where the wind as blowing about 30mph and warming a bit. We went on up to Wrightwood where there was quite  a bit of snow on the ground and the temps were lower as we got out of the warm Santa Ana winds. We continued to N4 and decided it was going to get cooler if we stayed on on Angeles Crest so we dropped down N4 to the high desert, where it warmed up to 63o as we went down, then reaching Ft Tejon road and traveling over to Mt Emma, It dropped back down to 50o as we were out of the Santa Anas again. Going back up the mountain to Angeles Forest, it warmed up again. It was getting late enough so the riding from then on was quite comfortable...kinda. We went ever to check out the Aqua Dulce airport because Steve used to live in that neighborhood and his dad had a plane there. It's a nice airport, but there wasn't anything tied down outside there. I guess it blows too hard there to keep anything tied down outside! We then went to Little Tujunga and rode that. It's a great little twisty rode. A guy on a 600 sport bike tagged along behind us. I expected him to pass us, but he never did. A few miles from the end we caught a water truck that was washing down the road and he held us up for a few miles. Once by him we went down and caught the 210 freeway for about three miles to get to Sunland where we were going to get on Lower Big Tujunga. The guy who was following su must've gone down Foothill, because as we were going up Tujunga, he caught us again and followed us to Angeles Forest. We stopped and started stripping as much off as we could as it was getting quite warm. The guy on the sport went by us there. WE continued on down to Angeles Crest and down the hill into La Canada. Now it was hot, approaching 90o, so beating it back home was a 50 mile bitch! A lot of lane splitting which makes it worse from the heat of the cars, but we both survived it and will live to fight it another day. That being the Norton Club New Years Eve ride from Pasadena to Newcomb's!

Awesome!  Some of my observations of that gallery:

Good selection of REs at the beginning and end of the collection, but lots of other makes, too.  Lots of Harleys...

basically no evidence at all of any of our stereotype biker costumes or get-ups.

"brotherhood" indeed - I only spotted two women in 125 photos!

Thanks for sharing those photos!

Strange, but I couldn't get a certain portion of my last reply to post.  I wanted to add, somewhere in the middle of my list:

Just like a rally here in the US: stock bikes and custom jobs from the sublime to the ridiculous!

Windy, Icy, and cold up here today.  Whistfully glanced at the Bull while jumping in the Subaru this morning. . .

Cheers,

Ordered some OEM fuel line from Dr. ATV, the Trygon stuff is to fat to fit through the holes under the tank. The new manifold Eric made looks great, can't wait to get all the parts in one place so I can fire this old Honda CT200 up...
