Shimmed valve clearances and loctited  a few bolts inside the engine of my supermoto. I found some metal in the oil filter, I hope I don't have to do an engine rebuild. Just wanna ride it!

Got TTP Air Box Removal Kit for 2015 T-100. Wife ordered it for my birthday! As if that wasn't enough...

It was sent to wrong address.  ??? It ended up at a house full of non- english speaking Somalians who and wanted ransom for its return...seriously!  :o

I didn't know until I got home from work. Wife tore it out of their hands and ran to car with it. She left them yelling about it as she drove off! Ha ha!  ;D No harm done, so I'm just going to let that one go...

Trying to download "usb drivers" and fuel map into lap top today, after long birthday ride that is!  8)

Got that TTP Stage-2 kit with tune done the other day. OMG what a difference!  :o Snatchy throttle is finally gone!  :) Smooth, quiet, and docile under normal riding but when you twist the throttle, look out!

Had trouble at one point when I could not get laptop connection for tune download. After a couple of hours of going over everything again and again, my wife walks by and says "did you hold the button down and re-start it"? :o Aaaahhh!  After that, it worked great!

TTP dyno results show just a fraction under 70 hp and I believe it!

Hauling bike in the back of my truck today for 3 days riding in the mountains of Idaho (while wife visits in-laws)  ;)

Rejetted the fcr39 on my drz400sm. Almost there...
Washed the postie scooter.
Looked at the Enfield.
Tried fitting the bag rack from my TRX850 onto the Monster. It's going to take some fettling but it'll work.  And bought a pair of GS500 wheels to Motard my dr250. Just for laffs.

Checked valve clearances on the TReX850. They're all in spec so I don't have to do any shimming! Even the timing chain looks like it has some life left. Nothing to do but button it back up and ride another 48,000km til next check  8)

And,  picked up my gs500 Motard wheels. $200 for both wheels, good tyres, all bolts, axles, spacers,  discs, cush drive,  calipers, master cylinders and hoses. Bargain! Got some machining to do now.

Got in 500 miles through the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho, hwy-20, 21, & I-84 loop (150 miles of mountain twisties one day, and same 150 + 350 opposite direction the next).  8)

New induction and tune on Bonnie proved to be spectacular! Unsilenced intake (DNA Pods) Sounds great, tons of power, and best of all, smooth power at all times. :)

Wife lost interest very quickly in the Bonnie/Kozy hack. Could've said something before I invested over $12,500 between the bike and the Kozy.  >:(
I suppose it all works out, though. I need the room in the garage, so it's up for grabs.

If I get a buyer, this should pay off my house!  ;D
If it doesn't, well dog knows I'm capable of enjoying it alone.  ;)

Sorry to hear you're rig's not working out Heloego, at least you got to enjoy it for a while... It was a great project, and you "done good" with it.  8)

Someone is going to get a great deal on that immaculate turn-key sidecar! May your efforts bring joy to all who ride in it for years to come!   :)

WEEELLLLL HEELLLLOOOO EVERYONE!!!!!!!    :D

Funny.  I've been putting off the Blackhawk rebuild for some time now, but finally going to get back on that this winter.  But, this is the NON Enfield thread!!!!!!

So.  I've always talked shit about Harleys.  But, I decided to give them a go and bought that 2001 Road King custom.  I came to the conclusion that it is a decent touring bike.  It really do a good job on my 2250 mile trip back in June.  But, overall impression, it's just driving a 2 wheel tractor with a bunch of cargo storage.  If you want to go far and haul some sh*t, it will get the job done.  But, trying to whip that thing around in rush hour traffic was the equivalent to bringing a Clydesdale to a steeple chase race.  Basically coming to the conclusion they actually are big piles of crap, and was pretty over it.

So, this week I put it up on Facebook Marketplace and started looking at new bikes at work.  I REALLY the 2019 KTM 790 Duke.  That thing was a blast to ride but the payments were going to be $240 a month.  Way beyond what I was willing to spend because my wife would have killed me.  At least have punched me in the face and put me on the couch for a few nights.   ;D  So, then I thought 390 Duke or 400 Ninja.  And while fun and affordable bikes, I would have just been disappointed in the long run.  Then the assistant sales manager goes "Well, what about this 2014 Street Triple R ABS over here?"  FREAKING JACKPOT!  Test rode it on my lunch and immediately fell in love.

Ended up closing by the end of the day.  Plus we had been sitting on it all summer, so, I got such a smoking deal that I financed for $600 under book value.  Only 6900 miles on it and super clean.  Practically brand new.  The thing I love about this bike is you can putt around smoothly if you want, but crack the throttle wide open and you better be ready.
