Guzzohm, Welcome (back?) to the Guzzi world. It's a good place to be!

I once owned a Moto Guzzi Nevada 750.  The cruiser riding position was not good for long rides.

Took the Yamaha for a spin around the block today. The poor thing almost never gets ridden anymore. Weird vibes at idle because the camera is bolted to the bike. The rest is kind of fun.

Sunday, the Three Bulleteers got together for a little spin up around Angeles Crest and lunch at Newcombs. Steve brought his girlfriend and I stayed back with them while Jack and the other Triumph riders took off for a little sportier ride! Newcomb's was really crowded, but we manged to get a table in the box, It took awhile to get the food but it was their usual good stuff, except I wanted Pork Sliders, which are really great there. However, I got the usual line about them not going to be up for a half hour or so. So I missed them again! It was really too hot, warm even at 7000 feet! but I got home about 1:30 so managed to miss most of the heat and still got in 225 miles. Didn't see any Bullets up there, though. Only a couple of other Guzzis.

Went for a ride on my old Pantah and dragged the LS650 bobber out of hibernation to get it ready for the DGR.

On Monday, I put the Dart Flyscreen on the baby Breva and took it for a 70 mile ride.  The air smoothes out nicely around the screen.

There is something special about a sunny Sunday morning ride, before traffic and come rushing at you.
I took the Breva for a 50 mile ride, totally relaxed with the pleasant surprise of lots of recent asphalt put down.  The fill up showed 60mpg.
Back home I realigned the headlamp which inadvertently moved up when I put on the flyscreen (note the photo).  Then I attached the Cortech tailbag for practicality and styling.

+1 on the Dart. I have one on the V7R. It's better than their stock one.

Returned with favorite wife from 21 day 4200 mile RT to Nova Scotia from VA on Honda VTX 1800 pulling a Time Out motorcycle camper. First time pulling a trailer....different...not good or bad.....just different; but it sure gave us amazing comfort for the long haul.    Rode the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton which is supposed to be one the best m/c roads in the world.  Well, it's certainly a spectacular ride....if only I could have carried the Bullet in the trailer and substituted it on the Cabot Trail for the tractor and hay wagon we were riding.

Took a very nice 116 mile tour from Laguna Hills to the main divide off Ortega south through Cleveland National Forest to Tejena ranger station and through the new homes built In the area since I was last there.  Road is all paved now but poorly maintained. Returned through Elsinore.  Stopped at the local watering hole "Hells Kitchen" and had some fun with the other riders.  They kept asking what was that square black box hanging down the fork leg. ( California charcoal filter required here ) I had some fun with them and very seriously told them that it was the Nitrous Oxide box and it give me enough horsepower to pass almost anything on the road.  Great day and love the C5........

I think I might have seen you guys... were you in Bangor, Maine, on or around Wednesday the 17th?  First at the grocery store near the mall, then immediately after at Harbor Freight Tools?
