The weather down here in Louisville, Kentucky hasn't been much better.  Just a few days ago we had flooding rains (the Ohio River is still at flood stage) and a foot of snow two weeks ago.. :P   Luckily, it was 64 and sunny here today  8), which felt great compared to 35 and drizzly when I rode the bike to the DMV  :(!

Hey Bankerdanny,

If you need some garage space to install your upgrades, let me know.  I have been afflicted with the "No Garage" space disease in the past and help out when I can.  If you need to span more than one weekend that is not a problem either.  I live in Lombard.

Thank you. I appreciate the offer.

It seems that we have several Bullet owners in the Chicago area that are active on this board. When the weather gets nice maybe we should get together. Twisted Spoke in Chicago on Ogden and Grand does a Bike Brunch on Sundays.

Hey Bankerdanny, Twisted Spoke would be a great idea, but this Sunday is no good.  Let's get a few people together soon though.

yep, cyrusb...

They don't want to look at weather reports here in Tucson.

I drove the bike down here in February, and it was cold but lovely!

Now, it's just perfect... and I am so glad I finally got my bike running in the past two weeks!

Of course, soon enough it will be hot enought to fry an egg on my helmet...

I had mine out on an extended run today,to go to my dealer's open house. The temp is something like 44F, but sunny. The trip was about 25 miles there, and I stayed warm, except for my fingertips-hard to keep them warm even with heavy insulated gloves out in the wind blast. I was pottering along towards home, keeping it around 40mph,when some jack@$$ in a 4x4 duallie yelled at me at a light for going too slow and holding him up.  >:(. I put $4 of premium in my tank today-wonder how much it costs him? :D- probably why he was so irate-well, the heck with him, anyway!

Jeep, it only got to 40 in Birch Run, but I had to check out the windshield on the Kawasaki W 650. 1st ride of the year and the cabin fever was gone and the smile is still on my face 2 hours later. 50 miles at an average 55mph and no jumping in the shower to get warm when I got home. Love that shield. Just loosen 2 screws and off it comes when it finaly gets warm. Looks like I just extended my riding season by a month this Spring and a month this fall.   Hutch

Yeah, I hate those slobbering neandertahls driving those big land barges that are jacked up 8 feet off the ground.Every time they accelerate it has to be like a quarter mile drag race to the death! God help ya if your ahead of them and not doing at least 20 over the speed limit. Then they'll yell at ya, honk at ya, and sneer at ya and ruin your whole day. I've met a lot like that over my 45 years of motorcycle riding.
