Electra Engine

Is the 2006 Electra an aluminum engine? This may sound stupid but I asked a dealer and the head mechanic was not sure. So I called another out of state dealer and asked the same question and the person in the service shop didn't know. Do you know?

The Electra engine (AKA AVL, AKA Lean Burn) is an aluminum engine. More accuratly, it is an aluminum cylinder barrel as opposed to the classic engine's Iron cylinder barrel.
