a nice British rumble is a good thing...very distinctive note...nicer to the ear than a Harley IMHO.... ;)
To quote Aniket, "... an exhaust note to die for". One of the very best things about Brit singles. Don't choke it off.

Bumboo here in Portsmouth, VA; riding a 2000 Bullet 500 mostly stock.  Congrats on your RE.    I run an open reverse cone on mine once in a while and the sound is rewarding as is a noticeable increase in peformance.  Just watch the sound on the Colonial Parkway. Hard to believe you can get too offensive with only 500 cc's of decible production but I got snagged by the Park Service PO-lice and asked to leave at the next exit....I can only think what they would have done w/ a Harley w/ shotgun pipes.

Probably nuthin. Harleys seem to get away with that stuff.
