So...it looks great...but how does it SOUND? ;D

I was waiting for some kind of reaction before I took the time to give a whole story & take the chance of losing it all again.

Now I'll do that since you asked the only question that really matters. Right?  But not today.

It sounds good. That's all I can say right now because I'm still in break-in. It's not super loud, but at least it sounds like an actual motorcycle now & not a watch (like a stock BMW). It started (2nd kick, no richener) & ran very good & I can't tell yet if it needs rejetting.

                  Here are two more pictures.
RI USA '08 Black AVL Classic.9.8:1 ACEhead/manifold/canister. TM32/Open bottle/hot tube removed. Pertronix Coil. Fed mandates removed. Gr.TCI. Bobber seat. Battery in right side case. Decomp&all doodads removed. '30s Lucas taillight/7" visored headlight. Much blackout & wire/electrical upgrades.

It worked out well & the only work was in fabbing the brackets. The front is a copy in SS of the original & the rear is just 1/8 by inch barstock. I'll turn that clamp down later. It could rip my ankle off in the right crash.

I don't know yet if I need a different jet. To my ear & butt, it couldn't be much better than it is (I've changed NOTHING fuelwise yet from before), but I'm still limited to my break-in for a long time yet (257 miles). If anything, it seems to run better. I cruised easy on the flat at 30 in 4th just to see. I rolled the throttle on fairly quickly & it jumped to 45 very quickly (quickly being relative) without any hestation, farting or fuming. No window-shattering popping decellerating in 2nd or 3rd. It accelerates very easily & smoothly.

One more picture then I'll stop. I promise. Got a lotta grass to mow.
