Maybe it is not practical but if you decide to start selling these concave parts again, just a very small change in the depth of the concave surface will change the focal length drastically.

In other words, changing the curve of the surface just 1/32" can move the point of focus several feet making it impossible to concentrate enough sunlight in such a small spot that it could set a fire.
A slight rework of the die to reduce the depth is all that would be required.

  Ace,Thanks for the good advice ,it really is a great product
despite this unusual trait.I intend to use more of the great products offered by Ace
and Fireball my Enfield as soon as my daughter graduates from college.
I would also recommend the same to all who would like to make the Enfield be the best that it can be.
