Quick question is there a small rear rack for the c-5 that dosn't require drilling the fender?   If this is posted elsewhere sorry i missed it

You can buy the back seat and pull the seat from the frame. Remove a couple of bolts and you have a rack. You can return it to a seat in a few minutes. It uses one bolt and loosening the shock nuts. That's what I did.

What did you have to do to get this part to "fit"?  How does it attach to the bike?

The Pillion sub frame mounts to the bike, the rack attaches to the sub frame.  Four bolts and some washers for spacers mount the rack to the frame, not hard to do.

Randomly, I met the man who did the storyboards for that film at a party once.  Really nice guy but I had had way too much champagne at that point to really appreciate the conversation.

I got it from our host, it the rack for an electra mated to the C5 pillion frame.
