I want to say a word about brother SinghG5. He has been making some technical postings on YouTube. These are how to videos for the UCE's and have been talked about here. I consider these videos to the the definitive work on technical aspects of the UCE engines and bikes. Of course I have to put in all sorts of disclaimers etc. with this post (consider this it), but I have never seen better on any motorcycle brand. He is doing the brand and all of us users a great service. Here is an example.

Nice words Kevin, time Br Singh's fine work was recognized.

Good on you Singh  -  and thank you again. :)

Yep, he's doing good :D
On the eighth day God created the C5, and it was better looking than anything on the planet.

I don't know definitive from Webster, but they're clear, concise, and as far as I can tell, accurate.  I like 'em!

One of the main reasons I chose to purchase a Royal Enfield was due to the great community here on teh internets. In addition to thanking Mr Singh for his great work, I would also like to thank the rest of the community for being so welcoming and helpful. What other brand of anything motorized has such a great community and even the grand poobah, Kevin, is posting along with us. The online RE community in my country is non-existant, without fine folks like 'youze guys' I'd be lost and probably riding a UJM again. Thanks for being here everyone...

Just wanted to echo some of the previous comments. My decision to buy a new C5 was greatly influenced by:

1. The enthusiasm and camaraderie on display in this forum. This is exemplified by all the posts of the experts here, brother Singh included.

2. Kevin's nonchalant (or should I say nonplussed) reaction to Jay Leno's digs and attempts at kick starting his G5.  The fact that he is active in this forum (i.e. the trenches) is a great confidence booster for the rest of us.

3. Oh, and the C5 is a lot of fun too! Just wish I got more attention from the dudettes instead of dudes (not that anything is wrong with that!)  :)

Thanks Y'all

HERE! HERE! HERE!

Mr Singh's works are highly professional and very informative.

His ability to condense the material into a point by point, easily followed presentation is commendable and an asset to us all.

My sincerer thanks go out to him for all of his labor and contributions.

As for Kevin and his dedication to us all,  a hardy "Thank you!".
It is rare in our modern world to see a CEO who truly cares about those of us who own the products he sells.
It is equally rare for a person in his position to take the time to actually read and to respond to our thoughts and problems.
Live long and prosper!  (Now where have I heard that before?)  ;D

Oh, I don't know.  "It's beautiful."  "Thanks, you're not bad yourself"  has worked a few times.   8)
