Thanks for the clarification. To me, the big single with all its features and limitations, is the reason to buy a Royal Enfield. There is nothing else like it in the market. To make a vertical or V-twin puts them in head-to-head competition with Triumph, Harley and BMW if they decide to modernize it. That would mean a huge expense to enter an already struggling market. Unless they offer a twin for the price of a current single, I doubt it would succeed.
