The "Alternative" to getting old is dieing, dirt napping, passing on, singing the song eternal, whats the rush? A bad day on an Enfield is still better than one below ground.

My dad used to say that "beats the alternative" but I think a dirt nap beats a decade of confusion and crapping in a diaper like he had. Since I have not experienced a stroke or other brain debilitating condition, I am convinced that when the brian shuts down I become worm food. If magical "alternatives" give you comfort, fine. Just don't waste your time "here" waiting for "there". Go ride!

Is it better to sit in church and think about a motorcycle...
or sit on a motorcycle and think about god?

Since my stroke I have suffered no debilitating results other than my left hand having completely forgotten how to do its part when I try to play the guitar. (This could be considered a real blessing for the rest of the world.)   ::)

A country road, the thump of single cylinder, the smell of the earth and the feel of the wind makes me feel closer to my creator than a church ever could. cochi ;)
