They are so close mechanically I have to go with my heart on this one. Classic G5. British racing green. Probably set it up with the full retro kit. I love a black bike, but this one, the green seems to fit.

I like a bike I can fiddle with once in a while. My old CX, had to be ridden or it would put ya on the ground in a parking lot maneuver. When I finally mastered it, I felt like I had accomplished something.  The Spirit by comparison, was an appliance. Got on it, turned the key, it started, barley had to pay attention to it. It was rock stable. Fun but not in the way the CX was. That's what I look forward to again on the enfield . I have read every review I can get my hands on, read a lot of the posts here. People may say there a bit slow for them, they may question if it can be a commuter versus a weekend ride. But, every, single one of them always says, It was fun to ride. It somehow relaxed them and put them in another place, another frame of mind and it was a good place.

Thanks all.

On a G5 the chrome hot dog shaped cover on the left side covers three electrical relays.
I'm not sure what these three devices control but I'm sure they are important.

I have to write a mail to the factory, maybe I can talk'em into a white/blue limited Bavarian edition with Weißwurst and sweet mustard. There should be a Bretzl-holder aswell.
