Beutiful day today. Sunny and 70. Weatherman says it's going to cool off again for the next few days, so I took advantage of a nice Sunday afternoon. Rode the coast roads through Seaside, that's the village where they filmed the Jim Carrey movie "The Truman Show." Nice looking place. Palm trees and bikini-topped joggers. Did about 130 miles al together. The bike was running so good, I didn't want to stop (I say that every time I ride).

Keep it up and I will move. Did I mention the 7 foot of snow, total, we have had so far this winter in MI? We just missed another 5" by 80 miles here in my home town. All I can say is ENJOY, ENJOY. At least a month more of snow and then another month of rain here. We have been running about 10 degrees colder than normal all winter. It is a sunny 20 degrees as I type this. Can't wait for May to get here. It will finally be at least 50 degrees buy then.   Hutch

You learn from your mistakes, and I have LEARNED a lot.

We had a heat wave here in Chicago Sunday (3/2 it was 54 degrees.

Unfortunately I only was able to start the Enfield and not ride. I took advantage of the weather to get out on the bicycle in the morning and it literally started to rain seconds after I kicked the Enfield to life, so I missed my window. >:(

My window closed too. Turned colder and windy. Not enough to prevent me from riding, just enough to prevent me from enjoying it.

Hutch, don't fret too much. When your weather does clear, you probably have a lot better riding roads available to you than I have.
