This is my first attempt at posting a pic, but the dealer put on the new seat for me and I am picking it up tomorrow

Beautiful !

Now, wait a minute: Chain drive on the right side ? Is that a UCE thing ? Darn it....I should play close attention.

While, you are at it, ask the dealer to put those mirrors in a vice and bend them more. That way they will be out of line with your elbow, and see behind you .You will actually be able to use them...

The B5 looks better with a solo seat.  The rear fender doesn't look so bad now.  You can add a rack to the back that is sold by our sponsor.

http://nfieldgear.com/enfield-store/aftermarket-parts-accessories/luggage/rear-carrier-pillion-seat.html

This rack has an optional seat that attaches with a couple bolts.
Could you tell us which seat that is?

Thanks
Ryan

The seat´s colour matches the pinstripes! Wow! Br. Ryanof is right, the fender fits very well now, too. Good choice, Br. Dallastheologian! Be carefull while breaking her in  ;)

That's the Deluxe Solo seat.  Love those beehive springs!  The bike looks great with the single seat.  I agree, it downplays the more square rear fender.  Even though I wasn't a fan of the rear fender at first it's growing on me now.  I think it looks even more old school than the C5.

And yes, chain on the right is a UCE thing.  It ensures that you burn your arm every time you lube the chain while the bike is warm.  Ask me how I know  :-[

Nice bike!

Scott

Thanks Ducati Scotty.  Looks like I'm gonna gets me one of those fancy deluxe solo seats.  I think I will go with the black seat which will go better with a silver paint job.

That bike looks great!  I personally am a big fan of the rear fender on that bike (and the 350's in India it's been on forever).  Don't let my bike hear it, but I'm jealous.   :)

Hey congratulations on the real classic (this is the original bullet as we know her in India). I notice this one comes with a new modified handle bar design.

There are a few suggestions that you may consider, depending on your choice.

A) Pin stripe the rear fender, it will add character to it and carry on the legacy from the tank on to the rear of the bike  ;D
B) A rear fender sticker would reduce the blank area of the rear fender.

Best wishes for long happy miles on your new B5.

It's pretty comfy on the ride. The only thing that bugs me a little is my legs hit the battery box when I am stopped and have my feet down. Good thing I don't spend a lot of time stopped  ;D
