Due to a leg injury, I am being transferred back to Tennessee in the next few weeks. I have 4 bikes to transport. Can anyone recommend a good transport company. I'm more concerned with quality than cost. Thanks in advance.

I have used 'federal motorcycles' twice with very good results.

I had the same question a few weeks ago. JC Motors has the best rates, but I have no experience with them. Maybe others do?

There's also uship.com, where companies can bid to compete for your business.

As Mr. 1 Thump recommended, I have also used Federal.  Very nice folks there - very helpful.  Customer service was great.

Thanks guys. There are just so many choices out there for this kind of service I was hoping someone on this forum would have some experience and be able to recommend a company. I am waiting for a quote from Federal Motorcycle to start.

If you get AMA membership, you get a discount on the move too, and the magazine for one year.

Thanks for the tip. I'm going to assume you mean the American Motorcycle Association or am I going to end up with monthly newsletter from the American Marketing Association  ;D ;D ;D

About 40 years ago the changed motorcycle to Motorcyclist so folks would know all bikes are welcome.

I got a shipping quote from Uship when I was going to get an Enfield from a friend. But  decided not to get the bike at the time so didn't need a shipper. But Uship bugged me to death after that. I would never get on their website again!

Big +1. I didn't try UShip, but I did look into a few other companies and they have been bugging me to no end. I'm still getting emails and phone calls even after I've told them I've already decided to use another company. I just want to get this move over with as little hassle as possible.
