The EFi is also quite bulletproof. Much less problems with EFi than with carb.
If you want good results, both systems have to be calibrated. The carb by changing 2 jets and the pin. Where every change in one part influences the other parts. Some Carbs are resistant against proper jetting.
And then the accelerator pump.
An EFi is much easier to calibrate properly. And it keeps this calibration in almost every situation (temp, height, air pressure). And it is a much finer calibration. So you can level out drops in the acceleration curve at certain rpm. Or level out differences by lacking backpressure of the exhaust.
You cannot just compare a somehow jetted carb with a standard EFI.
