Screaming
on:
June 07, 2011, 11:40:08 pm
Locust year here in Missouri.Like a few other things here in Mo,a little misleading. There are no locusts. But there are screaming crazy Cicadas.I have found a source of amusement in the red eyed little buggars, when you squeeze 'em,they SCREAM! What fun! They are always landing on me while I am mowing,I mash down on them and they scream!Fascinating.Puts 'em on a whole new level in my book.

I know it,Andy. The city limits are just the other side of the road that runs alongside my property. And there are far more Cicadas in town, too.More to squeeze, and make scream.

Damn things are noisy, but it'll be 13 years before they hatch out again. I feed them to my bulldog, he loves them.

Nice. Those suckers spend a decade sleeping, just to be woken by your fat fingers squeezing the life out of them. If Karma exists, you might want to wear a full face helmet. Bet those suckers feel like a golf ball at 45mph.

From the front they look like 1940 fords. Cool design.
