KR,   Did you consider 30mm cans?  I am just asking since I hope to fabricate something similar for my bike.  If you don't mind me asking about how lond did it take in total?  Thanks for the mention of the clear in flat, didn't know they made that.

Hello All,
Awesome job, I want those too for storage. 
I can find a rain storm, If it rains for three minutes a day once a year, I will get caught in it. I am just that lucky.
Several more pictures please, WITH a ruler that can be read in the photos, please. I would like a better shot at making that myself. Length and type and size of bolts and nuts please.
I have to turn you guys onto NORDLOCK WASHERS, they work well.
