B5 is back and running after re-routing of wire. While it was at the dealer, I had him install the EFI silencer. He said it was well worth the $45 i paid him to install it. His install looks nice with a small heat-shield hiding the joint.

I like the look a lot better than stock. Sound is throatier and loud enough for me.

i like the B5 alot and I don't mind the frumpy fender...Nice time of the year to have the bike setup the way you want it.

the pipe looks great, got mine on order and should arrive soon.. gonna slap it on my C5 sos i can look like r80RT. Glad the bikes up and runnin. ;D

Did the smaller heat shield come with the new pipe?  If not do you know where it came from?

I think it came with the set. But to be honest, I hadn't hardly looked at the box when the bike initially broke down. When the dealer picked it up, I gave him the box and the pictures show the result.
It does sound better than stock (and looks better  IMHO). There is an occasional backfire but that's pretty predictable and not loud enough to scare the kids.
