Does anyone have the New Pillion seat on the C5.  Can anyone tell me if it is comfortable for long rides.  Would love to hear any feed back

I have it.  It's a nice piece, well made, and goes on and off with three bolts in a few minutes.  Some other members got some that didn't quite fit as well as mine and theirs were not easy to get on and off.  Luck of the draw I guess with Indian manufacturing.  i think once you get it bent right to fit the bike it would be easier.

If you removed the seat it makes a super steady platform for saddlebags or a trunk.

As yet I have not had anyone on the bike so I can't report on that.

I have one and it bolted up easy, but I pulled the P pad off and put on a rack.

I bought the Hictchock seat.  I'll let you know how it is once I get the luggage rack mounted (see my other thread)

I have personally been a pillion on the C5 for a brief distance from office to home, but it was darn painful. I would never recommend it to anybody especially without a butty buddy or air hawk seat accessory. This is about the Indian version though....

Only KM would be able to tell if these are any different on the US and European version.

What he said. I have the seat base foe a rack and the BB just in case of a passenger.

The rack is for an electra modified to fit, I ordered it from the parts catalog.

Just curious if any one else has the pillion seat.  wife is getting real interested in getting a new bike.  she likes the the C5 in red, but I need information on the pillion seat before I buy one.

Thanks for any feed back

I use the C5 pillion seat for putting a pack on it for longer rides.  No one has yet sat on it, so I can't tell you about comfort.

It is useful as an easy place to toss two saddlebags over.
