I don't seem to be able to purchase the headlight kit along with the hood from RE in Canada or the US, or any other parts for that matter. I don't see the kit in Hitchcock's catalog and was wondering if anyone has purchased the kit from an Indian supplier and if so if they would tell me who they purchased it from. Thanks.

Look on Ebay. The 7" headlight rings were there. You can use most 7" reflectors or sealed beams-also on ebay. I wanted to use a bulky tripod/cut style reflector to use Xenon bulbs & LED pilot light, which I needed more depth for - So I used the stock Enfield rear ring (cut out all the tabs) then used a 7" Chinese CJ motorcycle outer ring with peaked hood (all bought on Ebay) which I then finessed together(made fit) looks great if I do say so myself.  see picture below.
Best Wishes, Craig McClure

Hey Craig - That does look good, thanks for the tips.

I'm looking to put knee pads on my C5 but haven't been able to find any, did your bike come with them or did you put them on? Thanks.

What kind of bike did you buy? All C5s come with knee pads.  Our site host sells the 7" kit, and just about any Indian eBay seller like Bulletwala should be able to get you the 7" inner and outer ring set and W-clips. You can use any 7" light with an H4 bulb with that.

I've never seen a C5 in person with knee pads. Here's mine. I'd forgotten how ugly the torpedo is, it's long gone replaced with an EFI.

Aha! A chrome C5.....nice bike.....it is the non-chromes that all have the knee pad....my oversight!

Here are some really nice quality knee pads I put on my Suzuki. http://www.jpcycles.com/product/720-976

I've got 7" Indian chrome rings from Enfield County (eBay).  Seem to be decent quality.  I'm using them with a HELLA 002395301 Vision Plus 176mm High/Low Beam 12V Halogen Conversion Headlamp (HB2) from Amazon and HELLA H-4 bulb.  I've no complaints.
I don't have a visor, so can't steer you there.
