Hi all ,well I done my French trip and all was well till the sunday I was taken ill but that's how it goes I guess, the riding was great and the sun shone what more can you want,I think this trip has proved without doubt that the Enfield can tour with the best as long as daft motorway speeds are not required even the it didn't shame it's self on the D and C roads I love riding(proper bends) it also carried just about everything you could load on a bike and still gave me near mid 80s mpg.hopefully I can put a pic on here but not too bright at computers. Going all out for a trip too Germany in June if the chemo does any good and the Lord is willing .Don

Outstanding!  How long was your trip?  And I don't see an espresso maker hanging off there anywhere.  If *I* was loading the bike for an extended tour, there'd be an espresso maker.  Just sayin'.   ;)

Don, it looks and sounds like you had a great trip, I'm jealous! The trip to Germany in June will be even better How many miles did you cover on this trip?
On the eighth day God created the C5, and it was better looking than anything on the planet.

Nicely done!

Can't tell for sure from the pic but it looks like the seat is modified?  What is it and how comfortable is it?  My four day road trip left my butt crying.  I need a better seat.

That AirHawk is pricey but if I make another epic journey I may have to step up and buy one.

Thanks,
Scott
