Friend of mine knowing I would be interested emailed me this picture of a bike he spotted today.    350 or 500?     Probably the only one like it in Florida if not the entire country..

My guess is 350 due to pipe size...

That must've been a private import, unless CMW briefly toyed with a 4-spd right-shift kick-only AVL model (like that cool-but-wacky dual-exhaust Bullet they messed with). I'm thinkin' 350 as well.

Yah, that seat too has a sharpness in its lines that you only see on the "for India" bikes.

A friend of mine in Titusville, FL just sold an identical bike like that on ebay. It was a Machismo 350, kick start only and I think 4 speed. Could be that bike?

This looks like an "India Only" model with the 4sp right side shift. Maybe early model Machismo 350 due to the front drum.

I believe I have the ONLY AVL Machizmo 350 in the U.S. 8). Front disk brakes, etc..  Privately Imported, courtesy of Uncle Sam.
