My recently purchased Bullet came with, among other spares, a new, not-yet-upholstered old-fashioned style solo-seat.  It has no identifying markings whatsoever and I believe it is likely of Indian origin.  See pics:

Does anyone know where I might get proper springs and mountings for this?
I plan on having it upholstered in leather if I can get the parts I need...

Thanks!

Looks like a lycette copy minus the leather cover and padding.

Anyone interested in buying a nice Lysette-style seat, minus the padding and cover?  :P *j/k*  (for now)..

Thanks for the info, CJ.

Just for accuracy - the name of the saddle-manufacturer wasn't Lycette or Lysette,  it was Lycett.

That frame looks nicer than the one I bought from cmw. However the dimensions are the same and in my opinion way too big for my bullet. I just finished sectioning 3 inches out of the width and 1 inch off the height and welded it back together. The cover, surprisingly doesn't need that much work to still fit.

Thanks for your input, guys..

Tom:  I'm glad you mentioned the correct name of the seat style!  This explains why I wasn't able to dig-up a lot of info. about these seats..   ::)

Cyrus B:  Is the underside of your seat frame the same as mine?  Do you have any pics?  I've never seen what the front mounting bits look like...   ???

Thanks,

Al
