Just surfing the net and came across this wild looking art deco bike based off a 1930 Henderson. Doesn't look like it would be much fun to ride, but it's a real eye grabber  ;)

I think it looks cool, in an art-deco "automotive" sort of way.

He did a nice job with it.

I've seen this before on the Inter-Webs .... It is an OUTSTANDING piece of artwork and a TRUE custom .... not just a bike built from bin-box parts from J&P with noisy exhaust pipes on it. I'd be thrilled to stand near it and study all the work that went into making THIS magnificent creation ....
Spare the pig iron - spoil the part!

That is one cool piece of work.

Here's the skinny. Built in 1936. I remember seeing this a little while ago listed as one of the most expensive bikes in the world.

That BMW is hot, too bad it spent most of its life in the BMW basement. Or that could be a good thing, might not have made it through the war if it wasn't :-[

Good point.  For a long long time no one knew if it was just a rumour until someone finally found it in boxes.   The guy who put it together must have incredible skills.  Hard to imagine.

Here's one of my favorites;  an Italian 350 I can't remember the name of.  The name is on the side if anyone can read it.  Moto -something.  Very innovative, and like the R7, proved too expensive to build- no one would be crazy enough to spend all the money.
An example;  see those black rubber do-nuts around the rims?  The chassis is suspended on those rubbers rings.  That's instead of shocks.

Run what ya brung
