What are you guys using/and where are you getting them for a drain plug washer? My drain plug has developed a leak.

I am using a copper crush washer. Got a few from CMW. I did go to a carparts store to find an equivalent.
I have used aviation gasket sealer on the threads if its not pouring out.

That's not a leak,friend...that's "controlled seepage",and it's perfectly normal... ;)

I use the copper washer and permatex non hardening goo.Never has leaked, but do not try to cure it by overtightening, strips easily .My advise is as above until next oil change. You mite want to check the threads at that time.

I was from a very small school, only 2 classes in each grade, moving up
to the big high school where everyone had grown up together...
seems like I blindsided a varsity starter in a drill and that somehow
got their respect...   go figure.

I use the same as Single works fine. Once you get it not leaking pump the oil out instead of draining. Been doing this on boats for 50yrs. never had a sludge in the bottom problem.   ERC

I went to a Yamaha dealer, Auto Zone, Ace hardware and a Moto Guzzi dealer. None had aluminum or copper crush washers. Finally, at AAP they had crush washers for brake lines that were the right size. $2.99 for 2. Copper must be a precious metal.
BTW, Auto Zone has Castrol MC oil and Valvoline MC oil $2. off. Comes out to $1.99  a quart. I bought some for the Enfield (The Ural uses Yak oil).

I had similar experience too - could not find copper washer of right size at any of the local stores.  I ordered them from CMW.
